A superb quality hand knotted Persian pure wool and silk Nain rug from central Persia in immaculate unworn newly cleaned condition c.1920's. The close hand knotted deep pile rug with a soft cream background decorated predominantly in tones of navy, teal blue and gold. Medallion to the centre surrounded by interlinked floral design decoration, infills to the corners and tripple border to the outer edge with tobacco brown background. The boarders floral decoration edged with silk highlighting the flowers. Presented in immaculate unworn stain free newly cleaned condition ready for use.
