A fine quality Regency period mahogany console table with two drawers and gilt brass decoration, in superb original condition c.1830. Polished figured mahogany top sat over two concealed drawers with beaded trim forming a panelled effect to the front and gilt brass Grecian design mask to the centre. The drawers supported by serpentine design legs with scrolls to the leg top and base, plus ebony stringing and gilt brass acanthus leaf design mounts. Open base with panelled figured mahogany back to the rear and platform foot. Superb detail throughout and presented in e...xcellent original condition with a rich colour and patina. Measures 36" wide x 17.5" deep x 36" high. Stock number 43363.
