A fine quality George III style solid silver tea strainer and stand, hallmarked London 1938. The heavy quality strainer with reeded rim and twin handles to the sides in George III style, decorative fretted bowl to the strainer well. The three legged base with matching reeded design decoration and paw feet, with a dished drip tray set to the centre. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith Richard Pringle & Son. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 4" wide at the handles x 2.75" deep x 1.75" high. Stock number 38389.
