A fine quality small proportioned Regency period figured mahogany drum table with four drawers and leather surface c.1820. The circular table with figured veneers and fruitwood stringing to the outer edge, the centre of the table with old rich brown tooled leather surface in superb condition. Four drawers set below with dummy drawers sat inbetween each. The drawers with figured veneers and fruitwood strung edges, along with the original decorative embossed brass knobs. The drum top sat on an elegant turned pedestal with reeded legs tripod foot below; the tips of each leg with brass claw mou...nted castors. Beautifully made with oak drawer linings and quality construction throughout, the table presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and original patina. Drawer section is 5" deep from the surface to below the drawers.
