Fine Quality Swiss Inlaid Mantel Clock
A fine quality Edwardian lyre shaped inlaid mahogany mantel clock with Swiss 8 day movement, fully serviced and working c.1900. The lyre shaped case inlaid with fruitwood and boxwood, brass stringing above and below the dial. Stepped base with small polished brass bun feet below. The superior quality Swiss 8 day movement with platform escapement, sat behind a convex porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel sat over the top of the dial. Presented in immaculate fully overhauled and working condition. Measures 6.2...5" wide x 3.5" deep x 10.25" high.
