Fine Quality Victorian Burr Walnut Credenza
A fine quality mid Victorian burr walnut fruitwood inlaid credenza with ormolu trim in superb original condition c.1875. Burr veneers to the top with ebonised moulded edge sat over a concave moulded cornice, cupboard set below and to the centre with bowed glazed display cupboards to each end. The central door inlaid and strung with fruitwood, matching stringing to the side cabinets frame and shaped apron foot. Ormolu mounts set either side of the door and matching trim below the surface, to the edge of the door panel and glass edges. The interior with original velvet lining to the walnut ed...ged shelves. Working locks with original decorative gilded keys to each lock. Presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and deep polish. Measures 60" wide x 12.5" deep x 41" high.
