Fine Quality Victorian Burr Walnut Fold Over Top Table
A fine quality mid Victorian burr walnut fold over top games table with book matched veneers to the top and a superb quality carved base. C.1870. Petal shaped top with moulded edge above a matching shaped apron. Turned column pedestal with reeded decoration and stylized floral decoration. Sat on a tripod foot with matching carving and decorative mounts. Folds over and opens to reveal a green wool baized interior with concealed storage space below. Superb condition with a deep shine and good colour. No breaks cracks or repairs. Measures 37" maximum width x 17" deep x 27" high. Opens to a table... 37" diameter. Stock Number 34095.
