A fine quality Victorian period Tunbridge ware desktop thermometer with bone scale and mercury action thermometer c.1880. Stepped base with immaculate Tunbridge decoration to the front edges and matching decoration to the chamfered edge pillars and stepped pediment. Inset bone thermometer scale with original mercury action thermometer in full working order. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina. No damage or losses to the inlay. Measures 6" high x 3.75" wide x 2" deep. Stock number 35521.
