A fine quality George V engine turned silver jewellery box with Lapis Lazuli inset stone to the clasp, hallmarked Birmingham 1928. The lid with angled edges to the front and rear decorated with fine quality engine turned finish and engraved bands to each side. Polished sides and small splayed bracket feet to the base. Decorative clasp to the front inset with a deep blue Lapis Lazuli stone, the hinged lid with sprung opening upon the release of the clasp. Opens to reveal a clean Royal blue silk and velvet lined interior. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded silversmith Walker & Hall.... The finest quality and presented in immaculate unused condition. Measures 4.75" long x 3.5" deep x 2.5" high. Stock number 38870.
