A Fine Late Regency period rosewood bow fronted stick barometer.c.1830. Made by highly regarded maker, John Frederick Newman*of Regent Street, London(w.1827-62). Silvered engraved scales with vernier marker. Matching thermometer scale below. Turned cistern cover to the base. Rare bow fronted model. Superb colour and patina.
