A Victorian solid walnut cased 8 day English dial clock by Dowling of Bath fully serviced and working c.1885. Slender moulded surround to the dial, with matching back box; access doors to the movement to the base and right hand side. Painted dial with Roman numerals and the maker name T Dowling, Bath, all sat behind a hinged glazed view window with polished brass bezel. The 8 day single fusse movement with anchor escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and polish to the case
