A George I walnut kneehole desk with herringbone crossbanding and brass fittings c.1720. Bookmatched veneered figured walnut top with crossbanding and moulded under edge. Two top drawers below with three small drawers set to each side, each with figured veneers and crossbanded edges, moulded edge frame sat inbetween the drawers. Kneehole to the centre with small apron to the top and inset cupboard, moulded plinth to the base with original bracket feet below. The sides with matching figured veneers and crossbanded edges. Oak lined drawers, original back boards and decorative acorn drop brass... fittings along with complimenting lock escutcheons. Presented in excellent condition with a superb colour and polish throughout.
