A superb George II period elm cricket table with wonderful figured timber top and patina c.1750. Circular planked top with superb figured elm boars sat over a triangular top rail with supporting cross stretcher. Three legs each slightly tapering with pegged joints to the tops. Triangular under shelf with planked top forming a lower support for the legs. Very primitive in design and presented in good original condition with an excellent colour and deep patina. Measures 25" diameter at the surface x 26.5" high. Stock number 38573.
