A George II period oak low table with planked overlapping top and turned legs c.1740. The square planked top with moulded edge overlapping the turned leg base. Deep moulded edge top rail with the legs slightly splayed and supported by a moulded base stretcher. Visible pegs securing the top to the base with original rich colour and polish. Makes an excellent lamp or occasional table, presented in excellent unaltered condition with a deep shine. Measures 18" wide x 18" deep x 20" high. Stock number 41049.
