An unusual George II period oak single drawer side table on tripod base in superb original condition c.1740. Oblong top with red walnut crossbanded edge sat over a single drawer with crossbanding to match the surface; sycamore lined drawer with original brass fittings. Deep apron with fretted arcaded design sat below. Sat on an octagonal pedestal with four way shaped tripod foot to the base. A small proportioned country made piece presented in superb original condition with a rich patina. Measures 17" wide x 11" deep x 28.5" high x 20" foot span. Stock number 40511.
