George II Silver Marrow Scoop

A fine quality and difficult to find George II period solid silver marrow scoop by John Gorham w.1751-9. Superbly made, heavy quality with original owners initials to the rear of the well; probably a marriage gift. No hallmarks but tested as silver and with several makers marks to the stem for John Gorham specialist spoon maker. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 9" long x 0.75" wide at the well x 0.25" deep. Stock number tba.
