An immaculate heavy quality George II period marrow spoon, hallmarked London 1730. Flat sided oval well with rats tail design to the rear; the slim handle dished recess for using as a scoop. Clear hallmarks to the handle along with the makers mark for London flatware maker Jeremiah Lee. An excellent early example presented in superb unused condition. Measures 7.5" long x 1.25" wide at the well. Stock number 41471.
