A George III period solid seemed brass flour sifter with original top and handle to the base c.1760. The circular base with flared foot and well polished sides showing the remains of the engraved ring turned decoration, keyed seem sat behind the flat brass handle set to the side. Domed push fit lid with pierced top for dispensing the flour. A charming well used item with a rich original polish, some minor dings as to be expected with a period kitchen item. Measures 2" diameter x 3" wide including handle x 3" high. Stock number 40117.
