A superb George III period copper ale jug with keyed seems c.1800. Circular form flaring outwards towards the base, rolled rim to the top and base. Visible keyed seems to the side and hand formed handle with decorative riveted mounts, poring spout to the other side. Formed in heavy gauge copper and presented in excellent condition with a rich polish and patina to the underside. Measures 6" diameter at the base x 8" wide spout to handle x 7.25" high.
