A rare and unusual George III period mahogany country house wine bottle holder C.1800. Tenon jointed construction, with four compartments, each having a cut out for the neck of the bottle. Original brass carrying handle and good patina. Measures 16" long. x 9" wide. x 4" deep. Each section 7.5" long. x 4.24" wide. Stock number 31137
