A late George III period yew wood high back Windsor chair with crinoline in superb original condition c.1820. Moulded elm seat with bent yew wood back, fretted centre splat with rails either side. Matching bent wood arm support with turned front supports. Turned legs with supporting bent wood crinoline base stretcher; the leg design matching the arm supports. Wonderful original rich colour and present in excellent condition. Measures 19" wide x 16" deep x 42" high to top of chair back x 18" seat height. Stock number 40975.
