A small proportioned George III period low back yew and elm Windsor chair with crinoline c.1820. Moulded yew seat with railed back including a fretted centre splat above, bentwood top rail and arms with finely turned supports to the front. Slender turned legs with bentwood crinoline base stretcher. Superb condition with a wonderful rich colour and original patina. Measures 18" wide x 15" deep x 36" high to top of chair back x 17" seat height. Stock number 40974.
