A fine quality George III period brass bound mahogany cellarette on the original stand c.1780. Hexagonal form with slightly tapering sides, hinged top and brass bound sides to the solid figured mahogany construction. Moulded edge plinth to the base with three tapering legs set below, each with the original brass capped castors. The hinged lid opening to reveal a clean interior with chalk wash painted finish. Presented in excellent original condition with superb colour and patina. Measures 19" wide x 16.5" deep x 26.5" high. Stock number 39065.
