A quality George III period mahogany chest on chest with brushing slide, original brassware and superb original colour and patina c.1760. The upper section with moulded cornice to the top and dental moulding below. Two over three drawer formation; each drawer with figured timbers and cockbead edges. The top chest with quarter reeded canted corners. The base section with moulded edge to the top and three graduated drawers below to match the top chest, pull outbrushing slide forming a useable surface above the top drawer. Moulded base rail with original ogee bracket feet below and solid mahog...any sides. Superbly made with oak drawer linings and choice solid timbers throughout. Presented in excellent original unrestored condition with original brass fittings and locks, superb colour and lovely original patina. Separates in to two sections for moving
