An unusual small proportioned George III mahogany caddy top chest of drawers with double depth bottom drawer c.1800. The solid figured mahogany chest with caddy top, the edges of the top strung with fruitwood and ebony. The front of the chest giving the appearance of four graduated drawers, each with figured veneers and cockbeaded edges, the bottom two drawers forming a double depth drawer. Matching figured timbers to the sides, moulded base rail with original bracket feet below. Presented in superb condition with original brass fittings along with a rich colour and patina.
