A George III period oak occasional table formed in the style of a joint stool c.1760. Planked top with moulded edge sat over a moulded top rail also with a shaped carved edge. Turned legs sat to the corners with supporting base stretchers. Pegged joints throughout, superb original mellow colour and original patina. An unusual proportioned piece, very sturdy and useable. Measures 14" wide x 14" deep x 18.5" high. Stock number CS244.
