A George III oak night stand with decorative panels to the front in superb original condition c.1780. Two plank top with moulded edge forming a tray style top. Double doors which slide open to the front with broad decorative fretted panels sat either side. Faux drawer to the base with shaped apron to the bottom ( originally pulling open to reveal a concealed bed pan ) square legs sat to each corner. Original brass ring pulling handles, colour and rich patina. A difficult to find version, been made from oak and presented in excellent condition.
