A shallow proportioned George III period oak and mahogany three drawer side table, ideal as a console table c.1770. The figured timber top with mahogany cross banding and moulded edge, three drawers to the front, one long and two small set each side. The drawers with cock beaded edges and original brass fittings, shaped arch to the apron below. Sat on square legs with chamfered inner edges. Very shallow depth making ideal as a console table or for use where there is not much space. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina. Measures 35" long x 16" deep x 30" hi...gh. Stock number 38466.
