George III Silver Bayonet Travelling Top Ink Well
A rare and early George III period silver top travelling ink well with bayonet locking top, hallmarked London 1810. The polished solid silver top returning around the sides with reeded decoration, bayonet locking top with engine turned edge to aid opening; original cork washer to the lid interior. Perfect faceted crystal base. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.8" deep x 1.8" wide x 1.5" high. Stock number 39034.
