A fine quality George III period solid silver mug by highly regarded and collected makers John King weighing in at over 9.5 troy oz, hallmarked London 1773. The silver vessel with bellied base and flared rim, stepped flared foot to the base. Scrole design handle with hand chased feathered decoration to the top. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith and specialist maker of this kind of item John King along with crisp hallmarks, 9.54 troy oz. Presented in immaculate condition.
