George III Style Mahogany Stick Barometer

A George III style mahogany stick barometer c.1880. Silvered engraved scale with vernier marker to the top of the mercury tube. Bearing the maker's name, Collins of Merton (London) engraved to the top. Visible tube to the moulded case down to a turned cistern cover base. Broken arch pediment to the top. Full working order. Measures 5.5" wide x 3" deep x 38" high. Stock no. 34697.
