A difficult to find George II period kneehole desk in solid figured oak c.1750. Two plank top with moulded edge sat over a long narrow drawer and three small drawers set either side of the kneehole, each with ruled edges. Panelled door cupboard inset to the kneehole with single shelf to the interior. Sat on a moulded plinth with original bracket feet below, decorative backplate brass fittings and escutcheons to the drawers. Excellent original colour and polish. Measures 33" wide x 17" deep x 31" high. Stock number 38047.
