An unusual George V period solid silver pencil sharpener with cast foxes head to the lid, hallmarked Sheffield 1917. The heavy quality solid silver circular case with rope turned edge to the rim of the top and the base. Superbly detailed figure of a foxes head to the centre of the lid. Opens to reveal a polished interior with the pencil sharpener in a circular aperture cast into the case. Bears the makers mark for James Deakin & Sons. Presented in immaculate unused condition.
