An unusual and rare George V period solid engine turned silver tinder box in working condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1930. The slim square case with matching engine turned finish to both sides, the top right corner cut at an angle; pull release to access the sparking striker and wicks. The sparking blade pulling out and slotting back in the holder the opposite way to make the spark live, two small wicks set either side of the spark. The spark being ignited by striking against the striker on the base of the case.
