A superb quality George V period solid silver portable shaving brush weighing over 3 troy oz, hallmarked Birmingham 1916. The tubular solid silver case with push fit lid; the lid removing to reveal a gilt lined interior. Brush sat to the interior with silver handle, which forms the end for the cover when sat in the case. The brush head screwing to the cover and the push fit lid to form a brush with handle. Retailers name A Barrett & Sons, Picacadilly to the end of the silver brush, and the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Horton & Allday along with clear h...allmarks to all sections. Beautifully made and presented in excellent condition with original bristles to the brush. Measures 1.4" diameter x 3.25" long closed x 6" long assembled. Stock number tba.
