A late George III period ash and elm comb back Windsor chair with moulded seat and wonderful colour and original patina c.1820. Bent wood high back and arm supports with simple railed back giving a comb effect and turned supports to the front of the arms. Moulded elm seat with turned ash legs supported by a matching turned stretcher. Superb original rich colour and original patina, very sturdy and useable with no damage or repairs. Measures 24" maximum width x 17" deep x 42" high to top of chair back x 17" seat height. Stock number 42433.
