A Georgian embossed pheasant shoot scene silver tankard by Exeter silversmith William Parry weighing 12.5 troy oz, hallmarked Exeter 1775. The vessel with slightly bellied base and flared rim. Stepped foot to the base and scroll design handle with feathered engraving to the top. The body of the vessel with superbly detailed embossed engraving depicting a pheasant shoot, man with gun in the trees and a dog chasing a fleeing pheasant. Complementing engraved decoration to the stepped foot. Bears the makers mark for Exeter silversmith William Parry along with clear hallmarks.
