A small George III period solid silver cream jug, hallmarked London 1763. Bellied vessel with flared scalloped rim above and broad frilled rim foot to the base. Scroll design handle with reeded thump plate set to the side with the pouring spout opposite. Makers mark beginning with 'A' but with unidentifiable second letter, clear hallmarks and weighing 2.3 troy oz. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 4" wide handle to spout tip x 2" diameter at the rim x 3.75" high to top of handle. Stock number 43266.
