A charming George III period Welsh elm stool with turned legs and wonderful colour and original patina c.1800. The hand cut oblong figured elm seat with visible leg joints showing through to the corners. Slightly splayed hand turned legs set to the corners, with the maker or owners initial 'H' scribed to the underside. Superb original rich colour and original patina, presented in excellent condition. Measures 13.75" long x 8.75" deep x 9.75" high. Stock number CS356.
