Glasgow School Copper on Oak Letter Rack
A superb Glasgow School letter rack with oak frame and embossed copper overlay c.1900. Figured oak construction with internal divisions for holding paper, letters and envelopes. The front of the exterior overlaid with copper, which is secured by round head copper nails and embossed with a Celtic cross to the centre and two Celtic knots either side. The sides and rear with matching copper overlay; embossed borders to the edges and Celtic knots to the corners. Superb quality and condition and presented in superb original condition. Measures 12" wide x 4.25" deep x 8" ...high at the rear x 4" high at the front. Stock number 42338.
