A genuine Victorian Howard & Sons upholstered armchair with serial number and stamped castors c.1885. Superb Howards quality with well shaped substantial frame and original sprung deep buttoned horse hair upholstery. Sat on turned mahogany front legs with original brass castors stamped Howard & Sons, London; splayed legs to the rear stamped with the serial number 6558 5063. A very collectable and desirable piece presented in excellent condition. An option to re-upholster the chair to the customers fabric choice is available (please enquire for a price to re-upho...lster). Measures 32" wide x 35" deep x 37" high to top of chair back x 15" seat height. Stock number 40207.
