A George V silver and engine turned turquoise enamel ink well with cut crystal base, hallmarked Birmingham 1912. Flared wide base ridged cut crystal base giving good stability, silver collar above with hinged top opening to access the ink well: the top with immaculate turquoise engine turned enamel finish. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Herbert Scott Murdoch along with clear hallmarks. Presented in in immaculate condition with clear undamaged crystal and perfect silver. Measures 3.25" diameter x 2.25" high. Stock number CS219.
