An impressive large Mason`s ironstone jug with colourful hand painted decoration C.1885. Octagonal formed jug with trademark serpent handle painted in dark green with matching rim. Floral decoration, hand painted in multi colours with flying bird above. Makers transfer print mark to the base. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 11" wide including the handle x 10.5" high x 9" deep. Stock number 34758.
