An impressive Regency period rosewood floor standing globe base with later paper mache globe c.1940's. The circular rosewood foot with book matched veneers and three claw feet below. Vase shaped column above with gilded metal mount and axis supporting the 13.5" paper mache globe. Bears the makers label for Phillips, Fleet Street, London and in excellent clear undamaged condition. A stylish and decorative Regency piece with 1940's globe, presented in good condition. Measures 36" high x 16" diameter at the base. Stock number 39152.
