A very collectible King Edward VII antique coronation commemorative silver throne, hallmarked Chester 1901. Superb details with wood grain showing to the planked effect back, carved design sides an the stone of Scone below the seat. Various models were made of the chair to commemorate the Coronation of Edward VII in 1901, some were made as menu holders, some as pin cushions or just as a chair. Bears the makers mark for Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd. Immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.25" high x 1" wide x 0.75" deep. Stock number 34372.
