Large Early Moorcroft McIntyre Pansy on White Vase
A superbly potted and rare Moorcroft McIntyre 'Pansy on white' vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1905. Bulbous base with short nuckle design neck and flared rim to the top. The base decorated continuous garland of pansies with buds and leaves, complimenting smaller garland below the rim. The flowers painted against a soft white background in soft yellows mauves and pinks with green relief, matching green wash to the inside of the rim. Bears the Macintyre factory mark to the base along with William Moorcroft's signature in green along with the retailers mark for Shoolbred. Superbly pain...ted and presented in perfect unrestored condition with no damage.
