Large Early Moorcroft McIntyre Pansy on White Vase
A superbly potted and rare Moorcroft McIntyre 'Pansy on white' vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1905. Bulbous base with short knuckle design neck and flared rim to the top. The base decorated with a continuous garland of pansies with buds and leaves and a complementing smaller garland below the rim. The flowers painted against a soft white background in soft yellows, mauves and pinks with green relief; matching green wash to the inside of the rim. Bears the Macintyre factory mark to the base along with William Moorcroft's signature in green and the retailers mark for Shoolbred. Superbly pai...nted and presented in perfect unrestored condition with no damage.
