A large pair of Dublin silver George III period sugar tongs, hallmarked Dublin 1825. The large heavy quality solid silver tongs formed in rats tail design, small spoon shaped nips to the ends to hold the sugar lumps and slightly shaped profile to the sides of the top, along with the owners initials. Bears the makers mark for Dublin silversmiths and flatware makers Matthew West & Sons along with excellent clear hallmarks. Weighing in at over 2.5 troy oz and presented in immaculate condition.
