Large McIntyre Moorcroft Blue Poppies Vase
A superb McIntyre Moorcroft 'Poppy' design vase signed William Moorcroft in mint condition c.1904. Bulbous base with narrow neck and broad flared rim. The vase decorated with a continuous band of tube lined poppies with the poppies and stems running up to the neck; additional complementing panels of decoration on the neck and to the underside of the rim. Cream background with the flowers painted in deep blue and the stems in green. Matching blue wash to the interior of the rim and bears the McIntyre factory mark to the base along with William Moorcrofts signature in green.
