Large Moorcroft Big Poppy Vase
An impressive large Moorcroft 'Big Poppy' design vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1920. The large form vase with slightly flared rim decorated with a continuous band of tube lined big poppies, the flower heads sitting at the widest point and stems and leaves running up from the base. Blue background with the flowers decorated in the earlier oranges and terracotta reds, the leaves in soft ochre tones. Signed William Moorcroft to the base in blue, and impressed Moorcroft, England. Presented in immaculate perfect condition. Measures 10.25" high x 8" max width. Stock number 37975.
