Large Pair of Victorian Brass Pricket Candlesticks
A matching pair of fine quality Victorian 'Pricket' candlesticks with decorative cast bases and engraved columns c.1875. The cast tripod foot of each is ornately decorated, the columns above with knuckle to the centre and fine quality engraving in the manner of Pugin. Decorative cast sconce to the top, matching each base with internal pricket to hold a large church style candle (as shown). Each heavy quality candlestick presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Each measures 25" high x 8" wide x 8" deep at the foot x 6" diameter sconce. Stock number 39800.
